Hi everyone,
I'm heading to Morocco in three weeks for about ten days, splitting my time between Marrakech and Essaouira, and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the options. My French carrier is offering a roaming data package at what I think is a ridiculous price (something like €15 for 1 GB, which is a hard pass). So I've started looking into getting a local or international eSIM before I leave.
The problem is that there are dozens of online providers, prices range from cheap to ridiculously expensive for similar data allowances, and I'm struggling to figure out which ones are actually reliable and which are just marketing hype. I've come across a few comparisons mentioning the cheapest eSIM for Morocco at around €5–6 for 5 GB, but the reviews are pretty mixed when it comes to actual coverage once you're there, especially outside the major cities.
Has anyone used an eSIM in Morocco recently? Any provider that really delivers when it comes to network coverage?
Has anyone found the cheapest eSIM for Morocco before traveling?
