Has anyone here used The Vess Brushes with solid perfumes?
hey everyone, I've come across the vess brushes a few times while browsing fragrance forums and perfume groups, but I'm still not entirely sure whether they're actually useful or just one of those niche accessories that look good in photos. From what I understand, they're mainly designed for applying solid perfumes, balms, wax-based fragrances, that sort of thing. Has anyone here actually used one? Especially with decants or other non-spray formats? Most of the time I just test fragrances straight on my wrist, nothing fancy. But a couple of months ago I got a sample of a solid perfume from an Italian niche brand and quickly realised that applying it neatly wasn't as straightforward as I expected. I ended up getting product under my fingernails and wasting more than I'd have liked. While looking for alternatives, I stumbled across The Vess Brushes. A few people online mention that the bristles are particularly soft and work well with wax-based formulas without digging into the surface too much, but it's hard to know what's genuine feedback and what's marketing. My main hesitation is shipping. By the time it reaches Europe, the total cost starts looking a bit steep for something I've never tried before, and I haven't found many detailed reviews from actual users. So if anyone here owns one, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. Is it genuinely useful, or does it end up sitting in a drawer after a few weeks? And if there are similar brushes available in Europe, I'd love some recommendations.
