Hello everyone, I was at a flea market near Croix-Rousse maybe three weeks ago and I spotted this rack of early 2000s pieces, actual vintage, not the reproductions you see on Shein now. I grabbed two of them: one with a sort of pixelated flame print, the other a baby tee with a faded holographic logo that I couldn't even read anymore. Paid like 8 euros for both.
I got home, tried them on, and immediately felt something was off. Not visually... the fit was fine. It was more that I reached for a decant I had on my dresser (a light aquatic with some ozonic notes, something I'd picked up to test) and when I sprayed it, the whole thing clicked. The cool y2k shirts energy and that kind of clean synthetic freshness went together in a way I hadn't consciously planned. It wasn't "this perfume smells good" in isolation, it was more like... the two things made sense as a unit.
